to develop dream teams of collaborators for their projects resulting
in projects that ignite, gain momentum & take on a life of their
own.
A change
catalyst within IBM Canada for twelve years, she designed new ways
of doing business, improving client relationships and increasing
profitability. Deb was highly recognized for developing leading
edge, practical solutions for new markets.
Deb
was one of the founding senior executives responsible for transforming
Mediconsult.com, a health-based internet company from four to over
450 employees, through an IPO and the purchase and integration of
six other companies, from one disease state web site to over 60
health communities, through evolving revenue models and partnerships
and finally to a sustainable set of products, value propositions
and clients.
As
a principal of Net Returns Consulting she was focused on the upfront
business design of technology initiatives and developed successful
web strategies for such clients as the Canadian Olympic Association
and the Canadian Hockey Association.
Deb
was co-founder and executive responsible for the overall scope,
design and implementation of Digital Opportunity Trust's global
programs. She designed one of the most leading edge programs
available in the ICT realm reaching communities, through young people,
and leveraging technology for social and economic impact. She facilitated
strategic private - public relationships with Cisco Systems executives,
CIDA, USAID and many others. Programs were implemented in Jordan,
Egypt, Lebanon, Kenya, Ethiopia, Mississippi & Louisiana.
Deb
is the mother of two fantastic children and is a determined and
constantly challenged golfer. She is committed to
challenging youth to embrace their futures.
